The following are the types of deburring:

1. Cold cutting burrs are the shear slip and plastic deformation of the grain produced by the workpiece under the action of cutting force, so that the processed material is squeezed and torn, resulting in the plastic deformation of the surface or junction of the part caused by fracture and tension. When the plastic deformation zone is not deep into the cutting surface, the workpiece surface generally does not produce burrs. For example, the workpiece after CNC punching and cutting will leave a sharp edge or trace burr on one side.

2. Hot cutting burrs refer to the metal materials such as carbon steel plate, stainless steel plate, galvanized plate, copper, aluminum, etc. after laser cutting, the workpiece cutting surface leaves sharp cutting edges and trace burrs that are easy to cause human scratches. If the laser head is not adjusted well, there will be sharp burrs and slag that are not easy to remove and oxides attached to the cutting edge area. The use of laser cutting carbon steel will also leave a thin and thick oxide around the incision, which will affect the quality of the next painting process.

3. Plasma and flame cutting workpiece surface will also leave a large number of sharp burrs or slag and thick oxide, these burrs, cutting edges or oxides, will cause human injury and affect the next processing process, resulting in serious product quality problems. Therefore, the workpiece after laser, plasma and flame cutting is required to remove slag, burr and polish rounded corner treatment. This requires professional processing equipment to complete.
