Whether it is through stainless steel deburring equipment, cutting deburring or rotary deburring, the Angle of the knife is an important factor affecting the effect of burring removal. According to the structural characteristics of the burr machine designed in this paper, selecting the appropriate cylinder pressure is also one of the main factors to determine the burr removal effect.

2.1 Tool Angle.

The front burr of the casting blank is shot down by rotating the cutter head at high speed. The four blades are centered on the axis of rotation and evenly arranged around them, but the direction of the blade is in an angular position with the center line of the axis of rotation.

The burrs at the back end of the billet are scraped off by the flat scraper of the stainless steel deburring equipment. In order to adapt to the deformation of the abdomen of the billet, the placement of the two flat blades are tilted toward the center, the horizontal line is a certain Angle α, and the micro-V-shape can protect the surface of the billet from damage, while effectively removing burr.

2.2 Cylinder pressure.

According to the process flow of the combined billet burring machine, when the equipment is in the standby position, the cylinder shaft is perpendicular to the ground, and the stroke reaches the Z value, the structure should remain horizontal. Stainless steel deburring equipment can calculate the required thrust size of the cylinder through the torque balance formula, and then calculate the required pressure size of the cylinder according to the cross-sectional area of the piston.

An in-line burr removal method for continuous casting generous blanks takes into account the different orientations of burrs at the front and back ends of the cast blanks. Combined with the burr scraping and rotary removal methods, the casting blank separates the front and back ends of the casting blank during transportation, which has a prominent burr removal effect. When removing burrs, there is no need to stop the casting blank, the equipment is simple in structure, small in size, easy to maintain, and can be easily set between the two rollers of the roller table, without affecting the placement of other equipment and the rhythm of billet production. The equipment has been applied to the continuous billet casting line of Shaosteel, and obtained excellent results of stainless steel burr removal equipment.
